Bad news, my grandpa is backing out of running the Miata :( He is now afraid that it WILL grenade itself... however I did fix the suspension :)

That's why I have missed so many autocrosses this year. My miata sounds like it has a bad main bearing and has sounded like that since early June. Even worse I'm too poor to fix it and it's my only car so I just keep driving it hoping it doesn't fail until I can get a motor ready to go in and then rebuild the one that's in there now.

Our Miata has 257k miles on an unrebuilt engine... and if you kick it you can see rust fall off! The problem is that my mother (ugh) won't let me autocross my JSW :(

Mine has 231k :) I just blew my original radiator a couple weeks ago because my waterpump/alternator belt came off primarily because my alternator basically fell off.

Well, I'm not exactly sure what is wrong, but it has a knock somewhere in the engine too... the only reason I didn't run it today :( Now I can't do it at all...
